Project Manager
Location: Shanghai
Department: Research department
Job Function / Responsibilities:
Assist Project Director to complete the projects including:
- Attending client meetings and conference calls.
- Translating documents such as questionnaire, briefing, and code-frames, etc.
- Supervising the project status from the research perspective and making status reports.
- Coordinating with field work department for training and problem solving.
- Updating the status to Project Director and/or to the client.
- Dealing with some basic data cleaning and data preparation.
- Involved in proposal and report writing.
- Conducting some desk-research for consulting projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree or plus
- Strong English language skill, both oral and written.
- At least 3 years experience in market research, either quantitative or qualitative, or both (preferred).
- Self-managed and self-motivated and willing to take responsibilities.
- Strong team-spirit.
- Working in an efficient manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Research Director
Location: Shanghai
Department: Research department
Job Function / Responsibilities:
Assist Project Director to complete the projects including:
- Independently handling the quantitative researches and strong analytical skills and techniques.
- Taking brief from client or superior and set the most appropriate research design
- Supervise the research, analyze the findings, and prepare the reports
- Write proposals for final check by the superior
- Designing DP specs and monitoring progress through data entry and DP stages
- Ensuring data is clean and makes sense logically
- Analyzing data and adopting suitable in-depth analytical techniques.
- Building up the quantitative research team and train our junior researchers
- Attending client briefing/presentation meetings
- Acting as a contact point to client regarding all queries and requests
- Providing insight and understanding on the data and make recommendations
- Recruitment and team building for research department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- University degree or plus
- At least 8 years of solid experience in quantitative research area
- At least 6 years of experience in quantitative analysis (preferably with a leading market research agency).
- At least 3 years of team-management experience and being able to designate responsibilities to team members
- Educational background in statistical data analysis/market research
- Being able to work with statistical programs as SPSS will be a plus
- Self motivated with ability to manage team and tasks/projects independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including fluency in English and/or Mandarin.
- Be comfortable with active client interaction and able to handle projects and apply complex analysis independently.
